You’ve found yourself on numerous occasions sitting in front of the television watching your favorite program when suddenly here comes a commercial. This particular commercial features some of the most adorable children you’ve ever seen. They warm your heart and make you laugh and then suddenly seconds later it is over. That's when you say... "My child could have done that". Not to fret, you are absolutely right. However, getting your child into a commercials is very competitive but not as difficult as one might think.
Introducing your child to the commercial acting industry can be an exciting experience if it is handled properly and professionally. Auditions and/or Castings ,now held in major cities throughout the United States will exhibit an atmosphere that is very playful and relaxing where kids seem to develop friendships. This is not to imply that the so called "Stage Mom" is not also found at these same auditions in which some parents are obviously pressuring their child to perform regardless of what is best for their them. With every good thing in life there is always going to be a few bad apples in the bunch.
In the upcoming issues we will offer some sound advice on learning more about the commercial/acting industry. We will discuss such topics as "Finding a Talent Agent", "Does My Child Need a Headshot", "Should My Child Enroll in an Acting School", "Does my child need a manager", and most importantly "How Much Will This Venture Cost Me"?
We will also introduce you to the world of print which is also very lucrative for your child.  Print is somewhat different than commercial acting but there is a lot of opportunity in this part of the advertising medium.
Written by leaders in the industry you will receive the latest information about how to avoid being scammed and learn how to give your child the best advantage to succeed without spending a lot of money. We will also show you how you can take the earnings your child receives from performing and create a college fund for when they are older.

Sincerely,
Moms On The Go Staff
